Q: I am in a disagreement with my friend who thinks someone in the company is padding expense vouchers. She wants to go to the president. I think she should go to personnel. Who’s right? — Need an Answer

A: I don’t know many details, but have many questions, about this serious accusation. How does your friend know such information? Does your friend have a grudge against the person she is accusing? If your friend has solid evidence, ideally be a copy of the expense voucher and where it was padded, she should go to the comptroller, or the head of the department who processes the vouchers. The bottom line is, your friend needs to have a solid case before blowing the whistle.
