Services for David “Man” Anderson Jr. will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Kemp Burley officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Anderson died Monday, July 26, 2010, at River Region Medical Center. He was 62.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Melba Ford; his father, David Anderson Sr.; maternal grandparents, James Sr. and Mattie Straughter; an aunt; and a cousin.

Survivors include his wife, Roberta Anderson of Vicksburg; a son, David (Pamela) Anderson III; a daughter, Sonja Anderson; a grandson, Dylan Anderson; and a granddaughter, Brittni Moses, all of Florida; four sisters, Gloria Goodman, Shirley Wilson, Loretta Young and Lori Ann Black, all of Vicksburg; two brothers, Larry Black and Danny Black, both of Tyler, Texas; three aunts, Rosie Goodman, Mary Louis Johnson and Annie Carol Straughter, all of Vicksburg; one uncle, James Straughter Jr. of Vicksburg; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and other relatives including the Walker, Naylor, Grady, Jenkins, Washington and Brocks families.
