Syble Anderson McAdory

PHILADELPHIA, Miss. — Syble Anderson McAdory died Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010, at Promise Hospital in Vicksburg. She was 77.

A longtime resident of Neshoba County, Mrs. McAdory retired from the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians as a mental health counselor. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Philadelphia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John William and Onie B. Anderson; and a granddaughter, BreAnn Garrett.

Survivors include three daughters, Brenda Rickles of Vicksburg, Debi Wharton of Horn Lake and Jan Warren of Philadelphia; four brothers, Alvin Anderson, Marvin Anderson, Hickman Anderson and Otis Anderson, all of Philadelphia; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Services were at 10 a.m. today at McClain-Hays Funeral Home in Philadelphia with the Revs. Jimmy Townsend and Chris Vowell officiating. Burial followed at Bloomfield Cemetery in Neshoba County.

Pallbearers were Josh Garrett, Cody Warren, Jason Rickles. Stuart Rickles, Adam Myers and Skyler Myers.
