Willie Joe Patrick died Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010, at River Region Medical Center. He was 70.

Mr. Patrick was a retired body shop repairman. He was a member of the Bethlehem M.B. Church and a veteran of the Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver Patrick and Callie Hawkins Patrick; a brother, Percy Patrick; and two sisters, Georgia Lathon and Noraleen Bounds.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Laura Taylor Patrick of Vicksburg; three daughters, Melissa Bowman, Melody Dart and Monica Jones, all of Vicksburg; two stepdaughters, Monica Shorter and La’Tannya Young, both of Vicksburg; four brothers, D.J. Patrick, C.J. Patrick, Robert Patrick and John Luke Patrick, all of Forest; three sisters, Earlene Walker and Callie Scott, both of Indianapolis, and Louise Denham of Gary, Ind.; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
