Child hunger cannot wait until Congress gets back from recess. The federal government needs to pass a child nutrition bill without delay.

The Child Nutrition Act Reauthorization Bill will feed millions of children by providing funds to supply summer meals, WIC, CACFP, school breakfast and lunch programs, after school programs and new school food financing provisions.

We urge all citizens to contact our senators and urge them to support the The Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act. This act will provide funding in the amount of $4.5 billion for the next 10 years.
