Marvin Wayne Martin Sr. and Anessia Shree Steward were married in a small, private ceremony at 5 p.m. July 31, 2010, at Triumphant Baptist Church. Pastor Dexter P. Jones officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Christine Gilliam Steward of Vicksburg. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Martin of Utica.

The bride was given in marriage by her son, Eric L. Howard Jr.

Nuptial selections were presented by Victor Gilliam and Linda Kaye Powell.

Maid of honor was Cynthia Fields of Vicksburg. The groom’s father served as best man.

A reception followed at the home of the bride and groom.
