Sonah Rosa Yoo of North Haven, Conn., and Edward Belk Perry Jr. of Washington, D.C., announce their engagement today. An autumn wedding is planned in Wethersfield, Conn.

Miss Yoo is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chaeto Yoo of East Windsor, Conn. Mr. Perry is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Edward Belk Perry Sr. of Vicksburg.

The bride-elect graduated from Hall High School in West Hartford and the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy. She is a clinical research pharmacist with the VA Connecticut Healthcare System.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Warren Central High School, the University of Mississippi and the University of Alabama School of Medicine. Following a residency at Vanderbilt University and several years as a psychiatrist at Yale University School of Medicine, he is completing a residency in internal medicine at George Washington University.
