Mother Nature gave Vicksburg quite the light show Monday evening with lightning that could be seen up, down and across the Mississippi River. The National Weather Service was forecasting temperatures today of about 102 with more thunderstorms late this afternoon. Temps are expected to cool down to the high 90s later this week.
