The mother of a Vicksburg girl accused of cutting another teen turned her daughter over to Vicksburg police Wednesday, nearly two days after officers began looking for her.
Lt. Bobby Stewart said the 14-year-old girl was delivered to police headquarters about 3 p.m. and charged with aggravated assault in the cutting of a 15-year-old girl three times with an unknown object and running from the 100 block of Alcorn Drive Monday night.
The accused girl was in the Warren County Juvenile Detention Center this morning, and the victim was treated and released, Stewart said.
