Leonard Griffin died today, Aug. 23, 2010, at River Region Medical Center. He was 53.

Mr. Griffin was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Daisy Palmer.

He is survived by his mother, Rosie Griffin of Vicksburg; his father, Leonard Rush of Killeen, Texas; three brothers, Elijah Griffin of Vicksburg, Timothy Griffin of Huntsville, Ala., and David Griffin of Dallas, Texas; five sisters, Rosetta Young, Janie Griffin, Betty Griffin and Terry Griffin, all of Vicksburg, and Emma Harris of Utica; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
