Owners of homes, cars report weekend burglaries

Six residential burglaries and six auto burglaries were reported in the city and county during the weekend.

• A 32-inch TV valued at $600, a 19-inch TV valued at $200, two video game systems with games valued at $700, a portable game system valued at $200, and an MP3 player valued at $30 were reported missing at 2:24 p.m. Friday from a home in the 200 block of Northview Drive.

• A 32-inch TV valued at $300, a cell phone valued at $200 and $10 in cash were reported missing at 5:57 p.m. Friday from a home in the 2800 block of Ken Karyl Avenue.

• An air conditioner unit valued at $200, a pair of sneakers valued at $130, a camera and video recorder valued at $180 and a necklace valued at $100 were reported missing at 10:46 p.m. Friday from a home in the 200 block of Azalea Lane.

• A laptop valued at $450 was reported missing at 7:29 a.m. Saturday from a home in the 2200 block of Jeanette Street.

• A 50-inch plasma TV valued at $2,400, a video game system valued at $300 and two pairs of sneakers valued at $230 were reported missing at 7:46 a.m. Sunday from a home in the 100 block of Shady Lane.

• Reported missing at 5:45 p.m. Friday from a home in the 100 block of Warriors Trail was $1,000 cash.

In auto burglaries:

• A laptop valued at $640 was reported missing at 9:48 a.m. Saturday from a 1999 Chevrolet Z-71 pickup at the parking lot of Walmart, 2150 Iowa Blvd.

• A purse and its contents were reported missing at 10:07 p.m. Saturday from a 1996 Honda Accord in the 100 block of Elizabeth Circle.

• Reported missing at 9:32 a.m. Sunday from a 2003 Mercedes in the 2700 block of Alcorn Drive also was a purse and its contents.

• An unknown number of cigars and change were reported missing at 5:32 a.m. Friday from a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado in the 70 block of Sunnybrook Circle. Also at the same location, a 2007 Jeep was also broken into, but nothing was reported missing.

• A portable video game valued at $200 and a wallet and its contents valued at $150 were reported missing at 6:33 a.m. Friday from a car, unknown make and model, in the 4900 block of Oak Ridge Road.

• Two handguns valued at $790 were reported missing at 11:46 p.m. Friday from a 2002 Ford F-250 in the 4300 block of Camelot Drive.
