13 sentenced in Warren County Circuit Court

In Warren County Circuit Court for the week ending Friday:
• Eric Ashley, 24, 4541 Haleys Point, pleaded guilty to contributing to the delinquency of a minor and was sentenced by Judge M. James Chaney to pay a $500 fine and $500 in court costs. Ashley was arrested June 10, 2009.
• Raymond Davis, 22, address unavailable, was found guilty of violating probation and sentenced by Chaney to 12 months of probation plus $1,373.40 in fees. Davis’ original arrest date for business burglary was unavailable.
• Joseph Hasty, 27, 150 Cain Ridge Road, pleaded guilty to burglary of a dwelling and was sentenced by Chaney to two years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections Intensive Supervision Program (house arrest) followed by three years of probation, plus a $2,000 fine, $387.30 in restitution and $322.50 in costs. Hasty was arrested Feb. 19, 2009.
• Eugene Charles Lewis, 23, 1900 Baldwin Ferry Road, pleaded guilty to escape from confinement and was sentenced by Chaney to one year in prison followed by five years of probation, plus a $1,500 fine and $322.50 in costs. Lewis was arrested Nov. 7.
• Leigh Ann Mercer, 43, 782 U.S. 80 West, Delhi, La., pleaded guilty to embezzlement and was sentenced by Judge Isadore Patrick to 18 months of house arrest followed by five years of probation, plus a $1,000 fine, $3,200 in restitution, and $322.50 in costs. Mercer was arrested Nov. 3, 2008.
• Jesse James Montgomery, 42, 3 Lydia Place, was found guilty of violating probation and sentenced by Chaney to three years in prison, plus ordered to pay the balance of fines and costs assessed with his original sentence. Montgomery was arrested April 21, 2007, for assault on a police officer.
• Christopher E. Oliver, 27, 4435 Casey Road, Utica, pleaded guilty to felony eluding and was sentenced by Chaney to three years of probation plus a $1,000 fine and $322.50 in costs. Oliver was arrested Feb. 20.
• Eric Anthony Phillips, 21, 226 Greenbriar Drive, pleaded guilty to business burglary and robbery and was sentenced by Chaney to complete the MDOC Regimented Inmate Discipline Program, followed by five years of probation, plus $2,000 in fines, $185 in restitution and $645 in costs. Phillips was arrested Aug. 9, 2005, and June 4, 2010.
• Frances L. Ramshur, 35, 107 Boy Scout Road, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced by Chaney to three years of probation plus a $1,000 fine and $622.50 in costs. Ramshur was arrested May 2.
• Willie James Smith, 51, 1515 Main St., was found guilty of violating probation and sentenced by Chaney to two years in prison followed by three years of probation, plus $1,957.50 in fees and restitution. Smith was arrested Aug. 6, 2008, for felony shoplifting.
• Edward Stowers, 43, 128 Village Drive, pleaded guilty to business burglary, conspiracy to commit robbery and three counts of robbery and was sentenced by Patrick to eight years in prison followed by five years of probation, plus $1,000 in restitution and $645 in costs. Stowers was arrested Oct. 21 and Dec. 29.
• Rico Larence Thomas, 25, 1708 Openwood Lane, pleaded guilty to drive-by shooting and was sentenced by Chaney to five years of probation, plus a $5,000 fine, $5,000 victim’s compensation assessment and $322.50 in costs. Thomas was arrested Feb. 11, 2007.
• Anna Truelove, 28, 998 Redwood Road, Redwood, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced by Chaney to three years of probation, plus a $2,000 fine and $622.50 in costs. Truelove was arrested Dec. 3, 2008.
