The battle for Warren County golf supremacy begins anew today.

Twenty-four golfers from Clear Creek Golf Course and the Vicksburg Country Club will get together this morning for the annual Warren County Cup, a two-day Ryder Cup format tournament.

The teams will play today at VCC in 2-on-2 four-ball and alternate shot matches starting at 8:30. Sunday will feature singles matches.

VCC team members are Jake Dornbusch, Bob Houser, Kacy Presley, John Boland, Parker Rutherford, Fisher Campbell, Larry Rocconi, Barry Palmertree, Bobby Burks, Richie Cowart, John Duett, Kimble Slaton, Paul Campbell and Chris Sullivan.

Clear Creek team members are Mike Hurley, Javier Torres, Rocky Shiers, Marlo Lamela, Zach Shiers, Herby Poole, Chris Whittington, Chris Ingram, Matt Hossley, Todd Brown, Rodney Lindsey, Chad Henley, Bob Davidson and Cameron Curtis.
