Clardy, Saxon recite vows June 26

Michael Owen Clardy and Whitney Clare Saxon were married June 26, 2010, at Fairview Baptist Church of Columbus. David Perkins officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Kimerly Saxon of Vicksburg and Freddie Sifuentes of Dallas, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Carrico of Vicksburg; Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Saxon of Wilmar, Ark.; and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Sifuentes of Olton, Texas.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Clardy of Columbus. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Clardy and Bradford Freeman and the late Willie Louise Freeman, all of Caledonia.
The bride was given in marriage by her grandfathers, Paul Carrico and Bobby Saxon. Her chosen colors were black and pale pink.
Nuptial selections were presented by Heather Clardy and David Dees, vocalists; and Slater Murphy, pianist and organist.
Maid of honor was Kimberly Kay Lemley of Dallas. Bridesmaids were Laura Carolyn Ruff and Laura Katherine Johnston, both of Starkville; Heather Ruth Clardy of Columbus; Kelly Ruth Perkins of Okolona; and Keri Aileen McGowan of Vicksburg.
Honorary bridesmaids were Lauren Michelle Mayer of Birmingham and Blair Trusty McBride of Vicksburg.
Christopher Byron Clardy of Columbus served as best man. Groomsmen were Thomas Richard Ferguson Jr. and Jordan Hunter Sumrall, both of Columbus; Robert Michael Bogue of Tupelo; Paul Lance White Jr. of Starkville; and John Gabriel Long of Atlanta.
Flower girls were Kenzie Jane Davidson and Piper Blaise Johnson, both of Canton, and Michaela Camille Clardy of Columbus. Ring bearer was Jaxon Lee Davidson of Canton.
A reception followed at the Stephen D. Lee Home in Columbus.
Hostesses were Lisa Gilmore, Stacia Johnson, Terisa Cochran, Kathy Bowan, Mr. and Mrs. Ronny Holder, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Patrick, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hamilton, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Long and Judy Moore.
For a wedding trip, the couple traveled to Destin, Fla. They will make their home in Starkville.
The bride is employed at First United Methodist Church Weekday Ministries, and the groom is employed at Severstal International.
