A Warren County woman whom police said was injured Tuesday night as another driver ran through a red light was treated and released from River Region Medical Center, a hospital spokesman said this morning.

The accident occurred as the Toyota 4Runner driven by Rene Wince, 41, 242 Demby Drive, traveled from South Frontage Road through the Halls Ferry Road intersection and onto Pemberton Square Boulevard, officer Bobby Jones of the Vicksburg Police Department said.

Jones said Nicholas Mathes, 20, of Utica, who was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Classic north on Halls Ferry, ran the red light at the intersection at about 9:30 and hit Jones’ SUV, causing it to roll onto its side.
