13 sentenced in Warren, Sharkey courts

In Warren County Circuit Court for the week ending Friday:
• Travis Chapman Arnold, 21, who gave addresses of 9150 Freetown Road and 1650 Warriors Trail, was found guilty of violating probation and sentenced by Judge Isadore Patrick to two years in prison plus $1,597 in fines and court costs, related to an Oct. 7, 2008, arrest for sale of marijuana; and pleaded guilty to statutory rape and was sentenced by Judge M. James Chaney to three years in prison followed by five years of probation, a $1,000 fine and $322.50 in costs, related to a June 15, 2009, arrest. The sentences will be served consecutively.
• Lena C. Edwards, 31, 450 Lake Hill Drive, was found guilty of violating probation and sentenced by Patrick to the Mississippi Department of Corrections Extended Alcohol and Drug Treatment Program followed by the Flowood Restitution Center and up to four years of probation, plus $5,227.60 in fines, costs and restitution. Edwards was arrested Sept. 30, 2008, for embezzlement.
• Helen M. Hedrick, 49, 6021 Pattison-Tillman Road, Pattison, was found guilty of violating probation and sentenced by Patrick to two years in the MDOC Intensive Supervision Program (house arrest) followed by three years of probation, plus $2,126.83 in fines, costs and restitution. Hedrick’s arrest date for felony bad check was not available.
• Michael L. Henyard, 49, 1327 East Ave., was found guilty of violating probation and sentenced by Patrick to the MDOC Extended Alcohol and Drug Treatment Program followed by up to three years and 11 months of probation, plus $2,679.50 in fines, costs and restitution. Henyard was arrested Dec. 26, 2007, for possession of cocaine.
• Kevin E. Hutton, 32, 272 Spout Spring Road, was found guilty of violating probation and sentenced by Patrick to the MDOC Restitution Center in Hinds or Jackson county followed by two years of probation, plus $4,789.80 in fines, costs and restitution. Hutton was indicted in May 2006 for felony bad check.
• Bobby Lee Johnson, 57, 2414 Pearl St., was found guilty of violating probation and sentenced by Patrick to the MDOC Extended Alcohol and Drug Treatment Program followed by the Restitution Center in Hinds or Jackson County and up to five years of probation, plus $2,715 in fines, costs and restitution. Johnson was arrested Nov. 17, 2003, for sale of cocaine.
• Susie Mae Johnson, 36, 1124 South St., was found guilty of violating probation and sentenced by Patrick to the MDOC Flowood Restitution Center followed by two years of house arrest and up to five years of probation, plus $2,126.83 in fines, costs and restitution. Johnson was arrested Nov. 22, 2008, for third offense shoplifting.
• Claude Douglas Jones, 45, 2501 Franklin St., was found guilty of violating probation and sentenced by Patrick to five years in prison with credit for time served while awaiting his revocation hearing. Jones was arrested Sept. 1, 2006, and Oct. 19, 2006, for possession of cocaine.
• Wade C. Myles, 25, 2302 Lake Hill Drive, was found guilty of violating probation and sentenced by Patrick to the MDOC Restitution Center in Hinds or Jackson county followed by five years of probation, plus $3,152 in fines, costs and restitution. Myles was arrested Feb. 19, 2004, for sale of cocaine.
• Patrick Andrew Taylor, 22, 3424 Drummond St., pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced by Patrick to the Ninth Circuit Court Drug Court Program for a period not to exceed five years, plus a $1,000 fine and $1,122.50 in fees and costs. Taylor was arrested March 2.
• Demika Chantey Thomas, 28, 1901 Grove St., Apt. C, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced by Chaney to three years of probation, plus a $5,000 fine and $622.50 in costs. Thomas was arrested Sept. 16.
• Megan Hope Williams, 24, 620 Porters Chapel Road, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced by Chaney to the Drug Court Program for a period not to exceed five years, plus a $1,000 fine and $1,122.50 in fines and costs. Williams was arrested May 13.
In Sharkey County Circuit Court for the week ending Friday:
• Michael Robinson, 34, 25 Coleman Road, Rolling Fork, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced by Patrick to three years of probation plus a $2,000 fine and $322.50 in costs. Robinson was arrested Dec. 14.
