Miss Wood, Mr. Wall to recite vows Oct. 9

The engagement of Julia Puryear Wood to Edward Earl Wall, both of Brandon, is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 6 p.m. Oct. 9, 2010, at the home of the bride’s parents, Mike and Linda Rainer of Vicksburg. A reception will follow.
Miss Wood is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Rainer of Vicksburg and Ronald Allen Wood Sr. of Hazlehurst. She is the granddaughter of Julia Puryear and the late Dr. Lamar Puryear Jr. and Blanche Wood and the late Claude Sandifer Wood Jr., all of Hazlehurst.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David B. Wall of Raymond. He is the grandson of Elsie T. Hossley and the late Earl S. Hossley of Vicksburg and Dr. and Mrs. Edward Rosser Wall of Shelbyville, Tenn.
The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Copiah Academy. She received a degree in business administration from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Miss Wood is an online sales specialist at The Clarion-Ledger in Jackson.
The prospective groom is a 1999 graduate of Raymond High School. He received a degree in sports administration from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Mr. Wall is an account executive for Yellow Book in Jackson.
