Electronics hot in burglaries

Two residential burglaries were reported in the city Thursday.

A Spotter Dale Jr. GPS unit valued at $200, a Nano iPod MP3 player valued at $150, a Nikon Coolpix digital camera valued at $200, a Motorola cell phone valued at $150 and a Nintendo DS portable game system valued at $200 were reported missing at 4 p.m. from a home in the 3200 block of U.S. 61 South.

A Sony PlayStation game system value at $250 and a Philips CD/DVD player valued at $200 were reported missing at 10:07 p.m. from a home in the 2900 block of North Washington Street.
