Both Hattiesburg and Natchez run the spread offense, but first-year coach Josh Morgan knows that every wrench he threw defensively at Hattiesburg in a 20-18 victory is available for quick review by the Natchez coaching staff.

“They might be the best team we’ve played so far,” WC coach Josh Morgan said. “They’re a much more confident and experienced team than they were last year. It’s good to have those spread teams back to back. We can’t do the same exact things against them since they have a scouting tape on us. Preparation-wise, it does help.”
