On Sunday afternoon, the Holy Eucharist will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Bolton. The Rev. Billie Abraham, rector of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church at Bovina, will officiate.

The service will be the first at St. Mary’s since it closed a decade and a half ago.

In preparation for the reopening of the historic church, members of St. Alban’s designated two work-days. Participants of all faiths came to help with the cleanup.

Among those attending the first workday were Carolyn and Marty Mellon, former members of St. Mary’s, and Dan and Brenda Mashburn.
