Alvin Dale Richardson Jr. died Friday, Sept. 10, 2010. He was 60.

Born in Vicksburg, Mr. Richardson was the son of the late Alvin Dale Richardson Sr. and Mary Leggett Richardson. He was a graduate of H.V. Cooper High School and attended Hinds Junior College. He was a machinist with Mason and Overstreet Welding and Machine Works in Pearl.

He is survived by a daughter, Monica Warnock of Vicksburg; a son, Kyle Ishmael of Vicksburg; two sisters, Martha R. Libbey of Vicksburg and Patsy Joseph (Dennis) of Brandon; four grandchildren, Ryan Warnock, Alaina Warnock, Analese Warnock and Kayden Ishmael; and other relatives, including five aunts, one uncle, one niece and one nephew.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Richardson was predeceased by his wife, Tanyia P. Richardson.

A celebration of life service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Riles Funeral Home, with visitation from 1 p.m. until the service. Memorials may be made to Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital, University of Mississippi Medical Center, 2500 N. State St., Jackson, MS, 39216.
