Three workshops focusing on retail and sales of fruit and vegetables will be offered throughout the state.

Participants will learn about strategies to sell fresh fruits and vegetables in multiple outlets and the process of certification. Speakers will be Lucedale producer Mike Steede and a representative from the Mississippi Restaurant and Hospitality Association.

• 6 p.m. Oct. 4 — Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum, Jackson; register by Sept. 27.
