The engagement of Brittany Lynn Willis to Bryce Edwin Morgan, both of Starkville, is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 6 p.m. Oct. 9, 2010, at Cedar Grove Mansion. A reception will follow. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Miss Willis is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gilliland Jr. of Vicksburg and Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Willis Sr. of Valley Park. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ketchings Sr. of Pass Christian and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Hughes and Evelyn Taylor Willis and the late L.G. Willis, all of Valley Park.

Mr. Morgan is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Edwin Morgan of Starkville. He is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. Alex Calvin Shotts Jr. of Jackson and Mrs. Sam Pole Morgan and the late Mr. Morgan of Sturgis.

The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Warren Central High School.

Miss Willis is attending Mississippi State University, where she will graduate in 2011.

The prospective groom is a 2002 graduate of Starkville Academy. He received a degree from Mississippi State University in 2007.

Mr. Morgan owns Bryce E. Morgan Fencing and Construction.
