Pancake supper set for Team Joshua

A Stop Cancer pancake supper is set for Wednesday at Bowmar Baptist Church.

The event, set for 5 to 7 p.m. at the church on U.S. 61 South, will raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Blair E. Batson Children’s Cancer Clinic.

Donations will be accepted.

The supper is sponsored by Team Joshua, an organization begun by Ernest and Ginger Berney to help their young son, Joshua, who as an infant was diagnosed with leukemia.

Team Joshua has also sponsored a Stop Cancer Festival and Stop Cancer Walk-A-Thon.
