Services for Chuty Diane Erves will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Williams Funeral Service with the Rev. Michael Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Erves died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, at River Region Medical Center. She was 59.

She attended Rosa A. Temple High School and Utica Junior College before graduating from Alcorn State University. She moved to Detroit, where she worked as a Kelly Girl and as secretary for Wayne State University and the United Negro College Fund. She was of the Baptist faith.
