Edith Williams Lott

CARPENTER — Edith Williams Lott died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010, at the St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital. She was 85.

Mrs. Lott was born and reared in Ryan, Okla., where she attended college before moving to Forest in 1946. She then lived in the Jackson and Raymond areas before moving to Carpenter in 1972.

She retired as a bookkeeper for Paine Refrigeration and Supply Co. in Jackson. She was a member of the Carpenter Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy H. Lott Sr. in 1977.

Survivors include a daughter, Rebecca Canzoneri of Brandon; a son, Billy H. Lott Jr. of Brandon; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Carpenter Methodist Church with the Rev. Frank Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at the Carpenter Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at Glenwood Funeral Home in Utica.

Pallbearers will be Bill Lott, Joel Lott, Andy Lott, John Holder, Rufus Stevens and Bill Beck.
