MOBILE, Ala. — Doris Elizabeth Mixson Hodge, formerly of Vicksburg, died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010, at her home in Mobile, Ala. She was 80.

Mrs. Hodge was a native of Savannah, Ga.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Evan Hodge.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Anna Hatch of Mobile and Lee Lovorn of Martinsville, Va.; one brother, Leonard Mixson; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 25, 2010, at Elmwood Cemetery in Georgetown, S.C.

Pallbearers will be Scott Lovorn, Andy Lovorn, Clifford Hatch, Rusty Hodge, Mark Mixson and Nick Sanders.
