The engagement of Kayla Michelle Day to Graham Kirk Pearman, both of Vicksburg, is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 2 p.m. Nov. 6, 2010, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Sheffield. A reception will follow.

Miss Day is the daughter of Kathy Day and Tommy Day, both of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Willie C.L. and Katie Smith and the late William “Frenchie” Day, all of Vicksburg.

Mr. Pearman is the son of Les and Sandra Pearman of Vicksburg and Sherie and Mike Herrington of Greenwood. He is the grandson of the late Arthur and Lois Pearman of Cleveland.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Vicksburg High School, where she was a member of the band and HOSA. She is pursuing a degree in medical laboratory technology from Hinds Community College.

The prospective groom attended Warren Central High School and serves as manager of Duff’s Tavern and Grille.
