Clarence Stimage Sr. died Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, at River Region Medical Center. He was 75.

Mr. Stimage was retired from Anderson-Tully Lumber Mill. He was a member of St. James M.B. Church, where he served as senior deacon and was a member of the Hanes Bluff Masonic Lodge AF&AM.

Mr. Stimage was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Mae Stimage; his parents, Clarence Ervin Stimage and Mary Hayes Stimage; and two sisters, Della Willis and Virginia Rankin.

He is survived by three sons, Clarence Stimage Jr., John L. Stimage Sr. and Alvin L. Stimage Sr., all of Vicksburg; two daughters, Ida Stimage Williams and Betty Woodson Bland, both of Vicksburg; a sister, Ruby Lee Brown of Vicksburg; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives, including Ava Christian and Alberta Butler, both of Vicksburg.
