NEWELLTON — Ruby Burlene Short died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010, at Olive Branch Senior Care Center in Tallulah. She was 89.

Mrs. Short was born in Rover, Ark., and was a homemaker.

Survivors include a brother, Dencil Ray Taylor of Wichita Falls, Texas; a sister, Wanda Lee Taylor Grissom of Newellton; and nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were this morning at Legion Cemetery in Newellton with the Rev. Dennis Campbell officiating. Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
