Two winless teams get a new chance when Region 2-6A play begins tonight at Memorial Stadium.

Grenada and Vicksburg both enter the start of league play at 0-4. The similarities don’t end there.

Both teams possess pass-happy offenses, but struggled to stop opposing offenses. Vicksburg has given up 158 points in four games for a 39.5 average, while Grenada has been blitzed for 36.3 points per game.

Kicker Travis Haas summed up Vicksburg’s desperation.

“We’ve got to get a win,” Haas said. “We need one, badly.”
