FORT WORTH, Texas — Mattie Lee Jones died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010. She was 71.

Mrs. Jones was a 1957 graduate of Bowman High School. She was retired from Ridlea Country Club and a member of Pleasant Mount Gilead M.B. Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, the Rev. Albert Lee Jones and Pearlean Torry Jones; and five brothers, Rembert Belton, Richard Belton, Avery Belton, Leon Belton and Martin Belton.

Survivors include her two daughters, Brenda Jones and Lanette Jones, both of Fort Worth; a sister, Essie M. Buck of Hermanville; five brothers, Abraham Jones of Pattison, Forest Jones of Brookhaven, James Jones of Naples, Fla., Abb P. Jones Sr., of Union Church and Will T. Jones of Aurora, Colo.; two grandsons; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Services were Saturday at Pleasant Mount Gilead M.B. Church in Fort Worth with Dr. Robert L. Sanders officiating. Burial followed at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Arlington, Texas.
