This week’s taste of cooler temperatures is just in time for annual downtown fall festivities, set to kick off Friday night with live music on Washington Street.
Clear skies are expected, with highs in the mid-80s and lows in the 50s.
This year will feature two new offerings — a free concert Friday night downtown and a cycling event called Bricks and Spokes on Saturday.
“We’re really excited to have it,” said Vicksburg Main Street Executive Director Kim Hopkins. “The turnout has been really good — especially since we’re going to have nice weather.”
