A Vicksburg man was arrested Monday morning after his brother was hit in the head with a baseball bat.

Charles M. Monk, 40, 4504 Halls Ferry Road, was in the Warren County Jail after the fight with his brother, William Byrd, 33, 4305 Tanglewood Drive, over tools, said Lt. Bobby Stewart of the Vicksburg Police Department.

Byrd was treated and released from River Region Medical Center, a spokesman for the hospital said this morning.

Monk was charged with aggravated domestic assault and released on a $5,000 bond Monday evening.
