Billy Wayne Hutto

TALLULAH ­— Billy Wayne Hutto died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, at his home from an accidental gunshot wound. He was 56.

Mr. Hutto was born in Monroe and had lived in Tallulah his entire life. He was a law enforcement officer for more than 27 years. He was a member of Mound Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughter, April Marie Hutto of Tallulah; his mother, Sudie Hutto of Tallulah; three brothers, Jimmy G. Hutto and Henry Wallace Hutto, both of Tallulah, and Gordon B. Hutto of Heber Springs, Ark.; a sister, JoAnn Anderson of Tallulah; and nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Tallulah with the Rev. John W. Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 5 until 7 at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be deputies of the Madison Parish Sheriff’s Department.
