Services for James Coffee will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Williams Funeral Service with the Rev. Rudy Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Ball Hill Cemetery at Grand Gulf. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Coffee died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, at River Region Medical Center. He was 91.

Mr. Coffee was of the Baptist faith. He retired from the U.S. Army with 27 years of service and the Detroit Police Department.
