Vicksburg firefighters work to extinguish a blaze at a home believed to be vacant at 1908 Walnut St. Monday night. The call went out at 8:20 p.m. about the fire that destroyed the house. An owner had not been identified. No one was inside, and the cause of the fire remained under investigation, Battalion Chief Tim Love said this morning.
