A traffic stop Tuesday turned into a foot chase that landed a Vicksburg man in jail.

Gregory Reagan, 24, 8050 Mississippi 3, was stopped on Grove Street for speeding and not wearing a seat belt, said Vicksburg police Lt. Bobby Stewart. A records check found he was wanted on several warrants, including one from the Mississippi Department of Corrections for failing to meet with his parole officer.

Reagan fled on foot and the chase ended at an apartment complex on Grove.

He was in the Issaquena County Jail without bond pending an initial hearing, said Stewart.
