CLINTON — Inest Christine “Chris” Haithcock died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010. She was 74.

Mrs. Haithcock was nursing supervisor at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson for nearly 30 years. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church of Clinton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Haithcock; her father, J.W. “Daddy Bill” Durden; and a sister, Billie Sills Saik.

She is survived by her mother, Inest “Mama Bill” Durden of Clinton; a son, Tim Nisley of Vicksburg; two daughters, Elizabeth Rankin of Vicksburg and Alison Anne Young of Long Beach; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Florence Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at the funeral home.
