One suspect has been questioned in a shooting early Saturday that left a Claiborne County resident dead, Claiborne County Sheriff Frank Davis said.

Eric Gusta, 27, 907 Marginal St., Port Gibson, was found dead in front of Club Henry Lee on Bessie Weathers Road with a gunshot wound to the head, Davis said.

He said no charges had been filed late Monday.

A woman who answered a phone call and said she was Gusta’s cousin but refused to give her name described Gusta as an outgoing person.

Funeral arrangements were being handled by Westhaven Funeral Home in Jackson.
