For the better part of a century, St. Aloysius’ best athletes have run up and down the same patch of ground on Grove Street on autumn Friday nights.

This Friday, some of the best will return for one more moment of glory.

More than 300 athletes and nearly three dozen teams will be honored before and at halftime of Friday’s home finale against West Lincoln. It’s part of St. Al’s 150th anniversary celebration, and is a small piece of a bigger weekend that will include a golf tournament, a pregame block party, an air show and a Saturday night gala.
