An icon of Mother Catherine McAuley, the founder of the Sisters of Mercy, stands in a place of honor at the Sisters of Mercy Silver Tea Saturday at the Cobb House at the Southern Cultural Heritage Center. The icon was made by Karen Harrison of Vicksburg. The tea was part of the weekend events celebrating the 150th anniversary of Catholic education in Vicksburg.
