Joe Little rides his painted mare, Dawn, in the median of U.S. 61 South in Yokena Tuesday afternoon. Little said he got off work early and decided to get Dawn out for some riding. The 40 acres he has for riding were too muddy from the rain so he decided to ride near the highway. Sunny skies were forecast to return today and continue through the weekend. Cooler temperatures also are on the horizon, with highs in the mid-60s and overnight lows in the 30s.
