Late rally falls short for Warren Central at Grenada

GRENADA — Several Warren Central seniors came up and hugged head coach Josh Morgan following the last game of a difficult season Friday night at Charger Stadium.
Not much went right for the Vikings at Grenada during the season and in the finale, it was more of the same.
There were plenty of opportunities, but the playoff-bound Grenada Chargers made enough plays to take a 15-10 win and end a trying season for Morgan and his team.
The loss ends Warren Central’s first year under Morgan at 2-9. For a program that had a 24-year playoff appearance streak, the longest in Mississippi, two wins is a hard thing to swallow.
