Miss Cockrell to wed Mr. Richards Dec. 11

The engagement of Brooke Lindsey Cockrell to William Paul Richards, both of Vicksburg, is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 4 p.m. Dec. 11, 2010, in Vicksburg.

Miss Cockrell is the daughter of George Richard Cockrell and Sharon Florene Bradley, both of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Geraldine Cockrell and the late George Cockrell and the late Patsy Bradley, all of Vicksburg, and Lamar Bradley of Crossett, Ark.

Mr. Richards is the son of James David Richards and Kelly Lee Richards, both of Vicksburg.

The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Warren Central High School. She is pursuing a degree in occupational therapy from Holmes Community College.

Miss Cockrell is a pharmacy technician at Helping Hand Family Pharmacy.

The prospective groom is a 2002 graduate of Warren Central High School. He received a civil engineering degree from Mississippi State University.

Mr. Richards is a civil engineer for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
