Donald T. Ball died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010, at River Region Medical Center. He was 72.

Mr. Ball was formerly of Ellisville. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church and a retired from the Marine Corps.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Mary Mauvereen Ball and Patricia Ball.

Survivors include his daughters, Deborah Andre Hoover of Vicksburg, Donna Mauvereen Culpepper of Laurel and Sharon Lynn Barnett of Raymond; two sons, William Thomas Ball of Pearl and Robert Earl Brett of Waynesboro, Miss.; two brothers, Clayford Ball of San Clemente, Calif., and Richard Ball of Tyler, Texas; a sister, Ineta Furr of Mount Olive; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel. Burial will follow at Lake Park Hills Cemetery in Laurel.

Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Earl Smith’s Sunday school class at Temple Baptist Church of Laurel.
