Dorothy Mae Brown Steward died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010, at her home in San Antonio, Texas. She was 71.

A former resident of Ballground, Mrs. Steward was a graduate of Bowman High School and a retired pre-kindergarten teacher at Children’s House Montessori School. She was a member of the Lackland Baptist Chapel, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, and she also attended Grant Community Christian Church.
