Miss Junkin to marry Mr. O’Nan in Starkville

Bobby and Dale Junkin of Vicksburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Lyndsey of Starkville, to Aaron O’Nan. Mr. O’Nan is the son of Phil and Robin O’Nan of Starkville.

Miss Junkin is the granddaughter of Emma Lee Burch and the late Cratus Burch of Vicksburg and the late Selma and Hattie Beatrice Junkin of Cleveland.

Mr. O’Nan is the grandson of Edna O’Nan and the late Eugene Leo O’Nan and Barbara Eblen Brown, all of Henderson, Ky.

The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Warren Central High School, where she was a varsity cheerleader and a member of the National Honor Society and varsity soccer team. She was a member of the Vicksburg Cotillion Club, Sub-Debs and Rebelettes.

She was a member of the Meridian Community College women’s soccer team and attended Mississippi State University.

Miss Junkin is a fourth-grade teacher at Louisville Elementary School.

The prospective groom is a 2002 graduate of Starkville High School, where he was a member of the National Honor Society and varsity football and baseball teams. He attended Mississippi State University.

Mr. O’Nan is self-employed in construction.

The wedding will be at 7 p.m. Dec. 18, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Starkville. A reception will follow at the Starkville Country Club. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.
