“MaMa” devoted her life to raising her children and taking care of her husband. She loved working in her garden, playing with and spoiling her grandchildren, traveling with her daughters (especially going to visit Gatlinburg, Tenn., to sit in the streams of the mountains) and soothing her feet. She was a faithful member of the China Grove No. 1 Baptist Church.

She was dearly loved by all of her family and will be missed immeasurably.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Center, 1512 Main St. Burial will follow at China Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.
