Susan Jones and her dog, a Boston terrier named Buffy, walk west on Grove Street past the new Run Thru History mural and the Levee Street Depot Monday morning. Jones, from Topeka, Kan., said she was making her way to New Orleans after seeing the sites of Vicksburg. The two made their way around the city on a day when the high temperature was 80 degrees. The temperature was forecast to rise to 76 today with a few showers on the way.
